About the product
ES G2 is the second generation of GoodWe low-voltage hybrid inverters for residential systems, available from 3 to 6 kW. GW5000-ES-20 combines 5 kW rated power with a 7.5 kW maximum PV input.
The battery port operates between 40 and 60 V with up to 120 A charge and discharge current. The backup output delivers 5 kVA rated and 10 kVA peak power (10 s) with switch-over below 10 ms. According to the datasheet, lead-acid batteries are not supported on the EU market.
Several inverters can operate in parallel. For low-voltage batteries the manufacturer states compatibility with the Lynx Home U series.
